This little table was built from two stumps. The top is a slab that was chain sawed off of an Oak Tree stump, and the base is a Manzanita Bush stump. The Manzanita roots were cut flat to sit on the floor, and the trunk was shaped to accept the round contours of the Oak Slab top. Once assembled, the unit was sanded with a combination of machine and hand procedures, then finished with five coats of hand rubbed Polyurethane.
